FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY MEMBERSHIP?
Typically I will process memberships on Tuesday evenings ready to post on Wednesday. In December I will try and process memberships Tuesday and Fridays due to demand. Please don’t join on Friday expecting to ride that weekend as you cannot ride until you have your key and number board.
DO I HAVE TO DISPLAY MY NUMBER BOARD?
Yes. Failure to display a valid number board not only means you are not insured, it invalidates the insurance of the whole club, this obviously could put us at risk of closure so please display your board at all times.
CAN I BRING ALONG A MATE WHO ISN’T A MEMBER TO RIDE?
Unfortunately not as the practice facility is for club members only. If you are discovered to be allowing non members access to the ground your whole group will be asked to leave and you will potentially face a ban from riding with us.
CAN I PRACTICE WHEN THERE IS A TRIAL ON?
On the Saturday of a trial we allow practice until 1PM but ask that you all refrain from riding in or near any of the sections that have been set for the trial. On trials day (typically Sunday) then practicing is not allowed.
CAN I BRING SPECTATORS TO WATCH ME RIDE?
Yes you can but spectators do so at their own risk. There are two public footpaths through our grounds so it’s common for people to stop and have a look. Please be polite and respectful to the general public. Dogs are allowed but the MUST be kept on a lead at ALL times.
